A toothache can be caused by a nerve in the root of the tooth or surrounding tooth becomes irritated. This irritation may be caused by:
Infection
Decay
Injury
Tooth loss
If you have an infection or decay, there is bacteria crowing inside mouth and you may want to see us for a consultation. If the pain is caused by injury or tooth loss, then you want to see us right away as well in order to prevent any further damage to your remaining teeth and gums.
