How Do I Care For My Dentures?

If you have dentures, whether they are partial dentures that are removable or full dentures, they have to be kept clean, clear of stains and looking nice and clean…just like real teeth!

If they are removable, make sure to:

• Remove and rinse dentures after eating

• Handle them carefully so they don’t get damaged

• Clean your mouth after removing dentures and remove any denture adhesive on your gums

• Brush your dentures daily

• Rinse dentures thoroughly before putting them back in your mouth

• See your dentist if the fit is loose and for regular dental check ups

If your dentures are not removable, then brush them like you would real teeth!
